“Stop Being So &@$ Stubborn” Chapter 173

No, I didn’t go to a rave, and no, that’s not yellow eye liner. Although it might be fun! Doush! Doush! ✊💪✊💪

Unfortunately, this is the result of being to damn stubborn. I paid too much attention to Rule #1 and forgot what the cover of the book read: ‘He might be the head, but I am the NECK!” Written by Laura DuBois.

What you see is yellow dye under a black light used to identify defects, and the spot on the eye is possibly an ulcer develop from the dry eye.

What you see in the picture below is the eye patch I have to wear until it heals. So I am writing this with one eye. Arrrrrr! I can deal with the eye, the problem is the ladies winking back. One even did a roll by and left her number.

This goes out to all of my fellow PALS.

I might be going out on a limb here, but at some time during our ALS journey, we all want to be be independent again, walk again, give a hug again, and - to be brutally honest - wipe our own asses again.

It’s hard to give up our independence. We have been walking since we were one, hugging at two, and wiping our own asses since five. What? You were six... I am sorry.

Our caregivers work hard to keep us as healthy as possible. They take our anger,😡 feed us, exercise us, and many other tasks. Paid or not, our loved ones who take care of us only want what is best for us, so stop being so damn stubborn.

Love and Blessings

Have you found yourself overwhelmed by emotions and unable to control them? I am not taking about reading a book or watching a movie that makes you cry or laugh, or your reaction when you get bad news
